A new sister-collaborative to NPNSC focused on EBP launched this past April 2025!
The National Doctorate of Nursing Practice Collaborative - Pediatrics (NDNPC-Peds) is a collaborative of pediatric doctorally prepared nurse experts in evidence-based practice from across the United States
Since 2012, NPNSC has hosted our annual 2-day conference for clinically-based pediatric nurse scientists
Each year our “Fly-In” takes place at one of our members’ children’s hospitals … see where we are heading next!

Our NPNSC Members
Member criteria: Pediatric nurse scientists are welcomed to join!
PhD-prepared* pediatric (or peds/family) nurse
Employed as a scientist in a pediatric clinical setting**
Evidence of an independent program of pediatric research by peer reviewed publications
*Those with doctorates (non-PhD) that meet all other criteria are welcomed to apply for membership!
**Those with a primary appointment in academia or industry must hold a secondary appointment as a scientist in a pediatric hospital or pediatric health system
Invited guests:
Key contributors, collaborators, and PhD students are welcome to join our monthly NPNSC virtual meetings as Invited Guests of NPNSC Members (status as an Invited Guest is up to 1 calendar year & can be extended)
